Stool culture & sensitivity for vibrio cholera in acute out break of diarrhea

Background: Acute watery diarrhea is a common clinical entity encountered daily in emergency department worldwide. In adults more than 90% of cases acute are caused by infectious agents spread ingestion feces contaminated food and water. Objective: To assess the stool Culture & Sensitivity for Vibrio Cholera Out Break Diarrhea. Methodology: This study was prospective cohort targeting all bacterial patients either sex ages attending Qazi Hussain Ahmed Medical Complex, Nowshera Pakistan. The overall sample size 86 on basis WHO calculator. sensitivity done isolates cholera. All data documented special designed proforma then analyzed SPSS version 24. Results: current study, totally were enrolled. There 50 (58.14%) males 36 (41.86%) females’ our study. Based identification, 11 (12.79%) samples positive vibrio cholera while 3 (3.49%) Salmonella typhi. Ampicillin susceptible to 2 (18.18%) (27.27%) resistant ampicillin.
